This highly visible role reports to OC&C’s Global Director of People (with steering from the Learning Partner) but will work closely with the broader People team.

In addition to running the current training offering, there is significant opportunity to assist and help drive other strategic People initiatives for the firm.

This role will manage and coordinate OC&C’s learning programs across all offices, currently 12 worldwide. You will lead the further iteration of our training programme, continually looking for ways to improve it and make it fit for a global firm. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all learning activities globally, including training, onboarding and induction programme, making it fit for purpose for all office locations/sizes.

  • Oversee and lead in some cases the organisation of all global learning off-sites (currently c20 per year) with the support of the learning team and Global Events Manager

  • Responsible for all learning related systems and data, driving usage and further roll out of our Learning Management System

  • You will support and champion the company’s learning culture and promote self-directed learning opportunities and knowledge sharing opportunities

  • Working with Learning Partner / Head of Product and Global People Director to drive change / new initiatives within the training program.

  • You will collaborate with the Head of Product and Learning Partner to continuously develop and improve the learning curriculum

  • Conduct post-training surveys to measure the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on evaluation results

  • Manage training course suppliers list and communications (scheduling, course feedback, etc) with external providers. Liaise with leads on new providers as needed

  • Manage the internal training task team, setting them clear direction, provide support and empower them to drive new initiatives

  • Manage, develop and coach the learning team, currently 2 direct reports

  • Lead on liaising with suppliers for Partner Learning and Development

  • Oversee the global Business Services training programmes, working closely with department heads to identify training needs and performance gaps

  • Responsible for managing the Global Learning budget, ensuring spend it kept within budget

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, equipment, and materials, with support from the learning team

About The Candidate

We are seeking an energetic self-starter, able to drive tasks through to completion with limited oversight. A team-oriented approach who can comfortably communicate within all levels of organisation (through Partner level) is essential. This position allows for a large scope to use their own judgement. Ability to work autonomously is important.

Key skills and competencies:

  • Proven track record working within L&D at a senior/managerial level and within a global context, including managing a team

  • Previous experience in a high paced professional services environment or Partnership is essential

  • Experienced in learning design and creation, and exceptional facilitation and delivery skills

  • Experience in organising large scale learning events (100+ people)

  • Highly numerate and able to take data and turn it into insights

  • Someone who naturally keeps abreast of trends and best practises

  • Highly collaborative with excellent stakeholder management skills and excellent ability to build relationships across the business.

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and deadlines

  • Forward thinking and open to new ideas
